I was trying to keep my conscious at 3pm whilst rain was heavy earlier. Plenty of outing for the past two days, not forgetting the regular class+games. Struggling not to fall asleep is never an easy task for me but I have to for the simple reason of a sound & tight sleep by 12am, hopefully every single night.

Buzz buzz...a friend called. He informed me that he had helped me to get my table set. My first reaction was WERTTTTTTTT????!!!! I haven't any cash to pay back for now.

Fact being, he had paid and we have to sort the money bit later. Before I'm fully awake, he is already at the door, with unassembled pieces of chair, table and lamp.

It was my first time cracking head doing the assembling job. Not a smooth one, sadly. He did most of the bit. I went with my luck instead of brain, lengthening the entire process. Wuahahahahha, as usual!

Let's check out my room prior the big table set was placed in my room.

I've tried to make it tidier possible but that's the best I could do, haa! Such a headache to fit a big table into my small room without blocking the wind from the fan towards my mattress.

Guess what happen before the table come into myroom?

What about the position of the table?

Out of a sudden........

no electricity leh~~the telekom guys are fixing it outside whilst I continue with the effort of arranging my rubbish with excitement. Finally have my own big table and can kiss the neck pain goodbye, phew~~

What about...

Almost there...a lilz more touch-up will mean...

DENG DENG DENG DENG!!!!

This...

And this...

Not too bad I hope, yay!!! Next best thing to do is to catch my beauty sleep! Woitttt, table!! I use you tomorrow k...nitey niteZZzZZzzzzZZz

and thanks ark pang yau!!

Just to brighten you and my day!:)

I'm drained

12:01 PM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (0)

I'm still drained over lastnight game.

Decided to buzz up this uncle from BC for some adrenaline rush after class as Sunday is never a pleasantly relaxing one since I signed up for CLP. Prior to that, I have done sufficient research on the location of the Club asides trying level best to 're-align' my rusted skill.

Game was costly but interestingly satisfying. They acted like amateur but play like expert! Once again, I'm the only lady player. A glance at their stroke, I knew the games are gotta be real tough.

Most of the players are at their later forties. close to 65% of them are wearing kneeguards with some minor injuries over the body. There is two fast players in their teen and one in his sixties! What a bunch of enthusiast eh? I pray for consistent/better performance on my part whilst looking at them warming up.

The game lasted for more than 3 hours and I was so drenched by mid of 2nd game, losing count to the amount of games I've played. This group is hell stronger compare to the previous few I joined though they claimed that they are bunch of old man. Indeed, they are way better, best group I join thus far. In between games, we chatted abit then more games resume, free-flow of shuttlecock...

Special thumbs up to Khaw, whose son is also a state player currently studying in Singapore. His (Khaw) back hans is clear, stroke is consistent, smashing is powerful, drop-shot no problem, defence equally amazing. I'm in trouble lolzz~~

By the way, I was thrased, badly haaa! but I enjoyed the entire 3.5hours of good game!

Though they are alot better, I decided to join them on regular basis, upon telling them about my concern to slow down the pace of games. They are kind enough to give praises blabla, inviting me for more games. I happily accede.

Now if I'm granted 3 wish, first I seriously hope my revision schedule won't clash with this game, secondly I would hope for real progress & improvement to fight them on par in the court and lastly, close my CLP chapter. See, I still remember where the priority lies...

Some Common 'FinDinGS'...among LD and myself

11:32 PM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (32)

It was my recent plan to re-adjust my sleeping hour for better health, better reasons. But being me, cravings for food never stop greeting. A friend indicated he may know his way to Ampang for this highly recommended OM Burger, so we met up for that after class yesterday. Round and round and re-round, we found it after more than an hour I'm sure, I procrastinated quite abit and begging for plan B in the midst of hunting for this burger stall, it all went very worthwhile but...it was 11:45pm when I got home and I haven't even start eating!

Why the long stories? I slept late and hence ter-MISS my civil procedure tutes in the morning! There is a split of second I woke up by 7:45am being darn proud about getting up so much early but to no surprise, I fall back into sleep, very soundly untill 1pm.

I jumped out sms-ed my meimeis saying I may not be able to catch them for lunch. Secondly to LD reminded him that I aint able to reserve seat for him. Then this kawan buruk who took me to burger lastnight called just to mock at how lame I am. I resumed my shower and rush towards Brickfield, smooth traffic, phewwww....

One of the mei mei looked almost limp with the little bandage around her leg. I almost feel the need to carry her but I guess she will be too embarassed to allow me such. Sorry girl, I swear I didn't mean to reach college this late and please recover in time for a fun badminton session soon.

Anyway, I'm spoilt with food and drinks followed by tissues the moment I stepped into class with a place reserved. Yea...LD is doing just another charity for the day! Then I got another round of cheesey sandwich(maybe a burger?)from this sweet friend who got me egg & cheese tarts the day before, midway of class. Since the pace of class is slow, I get Don to join me for tea break downstair. This chap...legend haa...Blog about him if I have a better chance nextime!

Class wasn't as boring maybe for the fact that I have skipped half of the session. Or...maybe I chatted quite abit on and off. As usual, I keep my antenna of observation strong as hell. To my surprise, my findings are very similar to LD's.

We catch up over bakuteh in Aman Suria whilst talking and crapping about all 'findings' from our observation in class. Here goes:-

No.1 story of the day - One proud guy who never say hi since CLP class commenced, being extraordinarily friendly, shook LD's hand and introduce himself, changed his ever-c#cky face looking as down-to-earth possible, dumped the entire groups of his lady friends whom he sitted with the past many years(since LLB in ATC) and came sitting next to a friend of us throughout the day. He rarely says a word to any of us, why the fuck he did this during class time? Do it outside after class, in the mall or far faraway place for heaven sake! I aint making a big fuss? LD did agreed with me and we both despise him bigtime!

A who sitted with this girl, C, all this while, fall into complete silence for the entire lecture session. Why most of the ladies forget their buddies for a complete stranger guy? LD added, best part when the girl is ditched, she come back to her girl peers sulking and crying suicide.

Then there is this lady who talks sadly, hell alot, selfish and freaking possesive over a frienship. She happily promise you for whatever plan/outings but chicken out last minute for no good reason. To make matter worse, she initiated plans by asking us to organise then back out complaining tired, place is too far bla bla heck! We don't need you to cheer the crowd or spice up our life, fucked off b@tch!! By the way, LD and me got the same response from asking her for notes-"My notes very messy, let me recopy and tidy up before I pass it to you" and?? end of story lolz LD is kind enough to supply her with many printouts, benefit of the doubt?? *eye-rolling* She even pouts if you have two more words with an angel next to her haih~~

Also, LD noticed a lady was flipping through S's files while she went away to find out if S has extra cases in hand than her for the fact that LD supplies her notes and latest cases. I thought we were learning professional ethics in class? Where is your common decency and politeness? I wonder how this world will suffer having bunch of idiots like this practising in legal profession. I mean, she could have ask S in person, or maybe share her notes with S to start with then discuss further on the materials. Mind you, little evil, the means to the end is hell crucial in life! I would have confronted her for this if my notes/files are messed with; of course no sane person would want to flip through my notes wuahaha who cares!?! And LD, I supported you 200% supplying irrelevant cases of 2000 pages to S so that the next round this evil flips her notes for more cases, she would take the entire 2000 pages to photocopy before realising it is worthless!

Interestingly ugly (in heart), hereby I present a guy, S who stays buddy+housemates with another guy, T overseas for couple of good years. Both of them are sitting far right at the corner front, one tall, another shorter but both are big. At lunch, once, S was complaining how good having meal without T and how not worth sharing foods with T. Hence I curiously question the statement. Beyond my expectation, he claimed T takes huge portion with unbeatable speed hence it is barely fair to eat together. Another time when LD supplied S notes, after quite awhile, I suspect upon T 'discovering' the notes, S came asking if he could lend the same notes to T? For god sake you guys are buddy, why not? One word to sum it all, PENJUAL-IKAN! So-called buddies, hem~~

ok..one more! A friend came asking LD to advise another guy friend of him to be aware of the other lady, B who get very close to him, being really nice and sweet for the sake of getting more notes and constructive answers to get her through the exam. This friend asserted that B is infamous for 'utilising' guy as a tool in order to achieve things she want. According to LD, B even carried bag for the guy. Situation like this...one nail, one hammer; who are we as an outsider to stop the drama (Correct me if I'm wrong)if the guy indeed enjoys B's companion?

Opss...time for bed, I better tuck in to bed before I regret lolz

Back to being a student..

10:56 PM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (3)

Gosh...I haven't have this luxury of being a student for quite awhile.I guess it is a good choice I decided in the end to have CLP done. Like loudao said, I better take this as a challenge and if I'm through, it will be an achievement, sufficient at this stage to close the studies chapter, in law of course, unless Im out of mind once again deciding to pursue a degree, say in tap dance...yea...I wish!

Just got back from game. Post-game feeling? Syokness!! hehe the satisfaction from the games always keeps me going! I'm sure my sleeping hour problem will be solved snap-of-finger that easy if I were to have game every 8am in the morning!

Speaking about game, the group of players whom I met during previous week are bunch of superb humorous chaps! I had my first quick dinner after game with them and almost laughed off my stomach! The captain, KH is kind enough to offer me a student rate of 5rm/session, unbelievable right? I was quite worried about unable to forge out enough for regular session despite the fact that I wanted to play with them as regular as I can. Now problem solved, yay!

So...my sleeping hour is upside down, I have constant headache, I have my breakfast at 3pm, I barely am awake for the day time class...hmm..sounds like I lost my discipline, so indulge in the world of myself, slowest pace anyone could imagine.

Sad thing being, I'm in serious trouble financially. Wondering how do I survive with so little I have in the pocket. Fortunately, my sis is kind enough to offer many rounds of tapao and opsss....I haven't pay her rental. For god sake which angel will tolerate such nonsense? And upon asking, I got my Tupperware 1.5 Litre botol for free wuahaha! Jealouse leh...haaa! Very many good deeds to return in the future! For those of you who are wondering, your water botol with number 7 inside the triangle where you can see at the bottom of the bottle, may lead to some health hassard. Apparently the likelihood of reducing sperm counts for men and causing cancer for all.

I better get going into some serious studies. Being a student means full-time study hence no excuse to flunk the exam. *sweat sweat*

Present from L'occitane?

hand-made card...so sweet :)

Something cooler than L'occitane product

A day with some pleasant surprise from MJ siao mei mei...a sweet girl I met in college:)

I start wondering very seriously, do I have a starving look? Friends and even people I chatted not more than thrice love showering me with cookies, chocolates, cakes, all sortsa foods. That really explains why my weight hasn't any chance to drop any bit. Okay, I admit...food is the utmost irresistable wonder to me hehe

Yeah right, 25, and I'm still in college. I wonder how many monkeys have such privilege to be the way I am.
Anyway, thanks for the sweet surprise little one, and the notes you collected for me,hugzzzz...

baddy..I'm coming and I'm Lovin' it

My sweat glands are resting for too long, my legs are itching, there is a calling knocking on my head saying :"hey you! get involved with your all-time beloved badminton games!".

I stop playing since I shifted from OUG to BU. It would be too much of a trouble to drive all the way to Sri Petaling or Old Klang Road for a good game. Imagining the traffic, I never give a second thought.

I do enjoy teaching combat, but I love badminton even more, miss it very badly. Upon shifting, I've given away my racquet and thrown off my shoes. Silly move but people made mistakes.

Internet and google is few of the best creation in the world. By chance, I found out there is a Community hall near where I stay and hence I decided to give it a shot there, or at least, making some enquiry on the booking hours and charges.

Less than 5 minutes after the thought, I found myself standing at the entrance of the badminton hall. There is 4 rubber courts , all occupied and looking impressive.

Standing still watching all the players in the hall, I was observing pretty carefully on the movements of every players from every groups. Another 5 minutes has lapsed. I can't wait but to reach the counter for further information. To my disappointment, booking courts at night could be difficult.

Apparently there is some monopoly in the booking system and people actually makes their way to MBPJ for 1-month-in-advance session only to find that courts are unavailable. The guy in charge in the badminton equipment store next to the court suggested I join the Court 4 group as they are regular for the game. I approached Uncle Kesh for it and he invited I joined them on the spot. I thought it would be good if they can see if I manage to fit in the group as it was never my intention to bring down the standard of the game. Being me, I paid for a pair of shoes and start playing!

handsome pair, no? he makes my night!

I truly enjoyed every bit of the games. 4 double games I've played consecutively. Not too bad considering I haven't been exercising for awhile:) They asked if I'm interested to join them on regular basis. A big YESHH from me and I go home more than satisfied.

Lee Hom

I love Pink’s music, it has got real attitude element in it. Daniel Powter rocks and Kelly Clarkson has impressive voice. But there is this “Descendent of Dragon” – Wang Lee Hom, a Taiwanese born American who has, over the years gained significant recognition in Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and throughout Southeast Asia.

I wasn’t so impressed by this artist until his effort in venturing and exploring new sounds and voices became more noticeable at the point he introduced his “Chinked-Out” musics to the world. The emphasis of such revolves around the heavy influence of traditional Chinese music. Earlier, he stressed the mainstream of R&B and Hip Hop; later he incorporated the traditional Chinese aboriginal music, Beijing Opera and ‘Kun Qu’ into the earlier. The fusion is marvelous and 盖世英雄 is a classic piece to me. (Coolness I tell ya!) And the evolution begins.

Next launch the “Change Me” album. With the belief of how little changes from us can affect the world, the album aims to promote environmental awareness. “Falling Leaf Returns to Root”, according to him, is an inspiration from his portrayal of Kuang Yumin in the film, Lust, Caution. The accompanies of violin and piano solo never fail to stir my much-suppressed miss-home feeling.

The latest album, “Heartbeat” keeps my Ipod very busy and distracted me from work quite abit. I’m amazed by how he can sing a single word-“偶” for close to 20 seconds yet gives a satisfying touch to the finish. Check it out and you will understand what I’m saying. No doubt, 玩偶 becomes one of my favorite pick. A friend conquered to my praise of 我完全沒有任何理由理你, the common in people with short hair and love exercise, eh? Or we both carry the same 切!切!我根本不屑! attitude wherever we go? Anyway, plenty of electric guitar, I’m more than happy with this release.

Little did one know that the maker of the above few masterpiece began learning Mandrin at the age of 18. Reminds me determination takes us real far. I can’t help but respect the perseverance and faith he holds in blooming the Chinese music industry.

Salute to this ever-devoted artist and I conquer with him , 华人万岁!!

Awaiting his concert on May 2, 2009 in Bukit Jalil~~

RT Pastry

Elsie!!!!! If not for reading your post, I will not end up like this today...
by the way, u ffk my sis huh?? ai si arkk??!!

All of the above at one buy, thanks to L and my greed!

If I'm not mistaken, there is only 2 RT in town, one in Taman Desa, another in Subang. The pricing is fairly reasonable worthing every bites. I rank it number one Pastry House in town . Of course I can't resist but to fill up the trays, heading home feeling bliss.

A friend once approached them for franchise purpose but they refused, I seriously wonder why.

Towards the later part of the day, my sis came home with 3 more...

I'm sure we will have a memorable pastry feast tonight wuahaha!

Days with plenty of wishes and good food

It was 11:55pm March 3, when I received the call from my sweetie boy aka my bro, Yang, from hometown wishing me happy birthday. He said he may not get through on 12am, hence tried 5 minutes earlier, smart leh?!? That's for sure, same family, same gene, hence the existence of us all, the LIM-with-wisdom family hiak hiak

After awhile I spoke to mydad on the phone and realised gal actually texted at 11:05pm, sleeping beauty, eh? It was 15minutes past 3am when I got home. Of course I skipped my shower crashing into the blanket dreaming of getting skin infection due to giving the shower a miss,. Guess what, I was evil enough to dream of such being a contagious disease and hence gal got it too! wuahaha...The buzzing of smses and calls accompanies me at sleep throughout the night up till noon.

Except for the later part of the day where camera speaks, I briefly recollect I was exhausted after binging on much dishes served with curry and chicken. The movie later on was slow but cool. I love the line and scene of one who claimed that he was being stroke by ligtening for 7 times in his life, pretty entertaining. The sad bit being, we all are aging, people near us are leaving...The thought of getting old, being helpless, skin sagging, face with wrinkles, slower movement, etc painful as it may sound, bothers me hell alot for a moment. My close ones or myself may leave this beautiful world, say in another 30-50year-time, where next? Reincarnation? A friend jokingly tell me, i need to finish all my food left uneaten in my entire life before I get to reborn. Tough mission, guess chances to reborn is slim for me, sigh! But then again, I fear the reborn takes me to life of a slave, a buffalo, a beggar, a cockroach...fuck!! what the hell is wrong with me right now...Excuse me, I'm a lilz tired and life goes on! haa!

A friend claimed chocolates help distress hence presented me with a bag of them. If I remember correctly, it works ONLY upon one taking a truck worth of chocolates. My next fear is, I could be hell distress when my weight shoot up consuming them all. Hm....big thanks for your companies if you are reading this. By the way, do I look like I'm starving to you, all time? The cheesecake was superb hehe

Some old buddies wanted to catchup for lunch, at least it was what I thought it is gonna be and hence I went with my sleepyhead. Thanks for the surprise folks, I enjoy the entire session, muakssss.

Sadly, I have class to attend tonight and had skipped the earlier part. The guilt stroke and warned I better get my ass there. I did. The part-timer goes :"I'm impressed you are here!". How sarcastic! Since mysis was planning a dinner, how could I say no. This is my first time celebrating b-day with her. We picked The Ship, in Uptown, when class ended.

The monkey bit of me can't wait but to peep into the present from gal. I love them, thanks sweetie.

me posting with the gifts

Escargot was served first, followed by the shark-fin soup. I find the Escargot abit too garlic-ish while mysis claimed the soup wasn't as tastier.

Cheesy Escargot

my all-time favourite, not sure is it the cheese or the snail

gal's recommendation - shark fin & crab meat soup

Main course arrived. My steak is tender, roasted to perfection but the sauce was so-so. Er...anything else in the plate besides the meat are tasteless. *My sis 'sour' face says it all!* Gal's looked freaking good but look can be very deceiving. She barely finished the chicken. Her dish was superb oily...yuckkkkssss on her behalf. I assume you renounce your entitlement to be reborn? Glad you did enjoy the 'golden pillow' next to the chicken.

Roasted Rack Lamb - not the same pic I see on the menu wor...

Don't ever order or you will regret your whole life!!

aiyoyo...the effect of bland brocolli on gal's face

Despite all the above, I enjoyed my food, and I always do. No?

That bit inside is butter aka oil, awful to the max! cheese will be a good replacement

The leftover

Just how did they come to the sense of 86cents?huh?!huh?!

Bill came up to a lilz over RM100. Ironically, the 2 skyjuices cost 86cents. We were like what the H#CK?!!? Then again, I appreciate the treat, gal, mucksssss!

Phew...and lastyly, to a friend who is bornt on the same day, month and year, Happy Birthday! May health, bliss and happiness always be yours.

JAcKsON's BurGeR

11:12 PM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (1)

Thanks to a friend of mine, I finally able to locate the place selling crab burger. You hear me right, it is Crab meat, patty is home-made. I have been wanting to check out this burger place some time ago but I doubt my sense of direction is sufficiently fine to get me there. The only burger stall available daytime. If you ever a craving at 3pm, this is a good choice.

Deng Deng Deng Deng!!! Here is how it looks like. The patty is sandwiched between two rightly pan-fried bun, abit of cucumber and chili sauce in between, looking simple but delicious. I'm sure it will taste better with more vege and mayo *drool drool*

We bought two of it and wallop one in barely a minute upon getting into the car and heading for Pan mee and grilled fish. The other one, of course for my jiejie. You know what's the ending of burger B? Check this out --> http://iampoodleaddict.blogspot.com/2009/03/doremi-q-up-for-food.html

hmm...reminds me of this same friend who has completely NO pride when comes to food. Also, one who called me a DOG in less than a week I know him. He self-claimed a writer for food column in papers and some low profile leading expert in xxx area. I doubt and he said if he were to produce his work, I have to eat them all alive...I go, "Who cares??!!". All that I know is, he can be quite an expert in his choice of food.

An interesting friend, whom I guess lies half of the time but good fun chap to hang out with. His ability to make you laugh off your stomach falling from chair is remarkable. We clicks upon me calling him loudao, and thereon, I have ample supplies of food and drinks. Kao yok pao, curry puff, egg tarts, siew pao, chili pan mee, pork noodles and the recent one...Marks & Spencer cookies. Yummmmm.....!

Glad to be friend, loudao. And thanks for some good motivation on my career direction and all the good foods. I did spread on your reborn-food theory but no one seems to agree! As for the 蚂蚁推大树, I still think elephant meat isn't to the ants' liking, cheers!
