Die die oso must get through, to all my CLP mates, gambateh!!

Don't brag and assume until you are in the position to do so!

I brought along an index of Legal Profession (Practice and Etiquette) Rules 1978 to badminton court as a friend suggested I could look at them during break time.

One of the player who always like to brag went:" exam is 6weeks away, sap sap soy lar, why so kanjiong; even without studying, I think I can get through!" He started telling about Anwar's case and his refusal to allow urine test to be taken, "advising" i put them down in the exam. What is the connection if I'm doing Civil Procedure paper? He added he passed his exam by copying answers of a friend as he is not good at certain subjects and called another girl stupid for not cheating like he did. I was like...what the heck you are trying to tell me?

It was a total pissed off! Who are you to say that? Have you any idea just how bulky the CLP syllabus is? Have you even a chance to touch those material to enable you to make baseless assumption like that? There are plenty of provisions and cases to be quoted along with reasoned judgment, Practice Direction, etc. Hell alot of practice and hardwork, which you denied without knowing a single bit of what kinda challenge we are facing! f*ck you idiot!

Relief

Summon settled, phew~~

brain ar brain, are you functioning allright?

I'm amazed how I survived the previous weeks of revision classes. Was it the foods in Brickfield, the friends in college or could it be just my last chance to get sufficient answers to pass exam?

Anyway it was a long day to start with on Sunday. Towards evening when I felt drained, mentally, a buddy buzz up and asked if I want to join her and a friend in getting a pair of drum sticks. Since I plan to pick up drum lesson soon after exam, I went and we got a pair each, size 7A. Picking the sticks are effortless, mainly because we are nobie, I wish I have a pair with real cool dragon on it though.

I can't wait hence suggesting her friend to gave us a lesson that same night upon getting our sticks. He is cool with it hence the favour was answered right after dinner. YY seems coping well, me on the other hand was quite lost but I love this instrument hoping one day to play it fairly good upon proper learning.

Our informal lessons lasted 2 hours before I headed home for sleep. They, on the other hand proceed with their mamak-football session.

My tiredness was overwhelming and I missed the appointment. My reaction was slow, vision was kinda blur but I resumed working on the slides and had it done in the office so I can settle all summons within time.

Yesh I got paid hence went with friend for Japanese food with Angel and Demon to follow. Sophisticated film, I would prefer mind-relaxing film alot than this one lolz Visited some bunnies but not to my liking.

I need my beauty sleep, nitezzz everyone!

A day worth remember for YAY

Gosh I can't believe what I dreamt lastnight happen in real life the next day, ie. today. In a different way from what I dreamt on but end result is the same:)

I'm so so so much in JOY, feeling HYPER, HIGH, EXCITED. I see sunlight...truly can't believe it happens but...God is kind, sending me an angel in helping, thanks dear.

I shall sleep very soundly shortly after I complete my task.

What a day worth remembered of.

A short conversation that never fail to earn my tears

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down! .

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you e! arlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard ! in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Worst day of my life

Baseball in One-U

8:34 PM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (10)

Anyone had try batting in the baseball cage in One-U rooftop?

I have been wanting to do this but haven't any chance. Happen so a collegemate and his group of friends are going. I asked YY to go along, the other meimei QUN, turned down straight lolz

Getting up 9+am in the morning was a torture. It went allright after a curry breakfast. That kid wasted good food early in the morning though.

We reached on time, Yeo came about 10minutes later. Then his friends, one after another. By 12:15pm we were all there. Sadly the bum who worked there refuse to open the cage and let us start whacking. "Dua belas suku setengah" nanti you balek. we wondered in the mall before trying our luck a second time. Sad to say, the same bum said...tak tahu sudah belom *.*'''

We managed to start the game shortly upon collecting the gears and payment. RM3 per token ie 15hits, so-called Wednesday special :)

This Alan guy was a natural player. Yeo said he would have been a national player if he is given chance to practice everyday. YY sort of got the hang of it after awhile, the other girl was abit shy though. The rest of the gentlemen looked enjoyed; I'm sure they have good fun increasing the speed for better challenge and satisfaction. I love the game too but may love it even more if we get to play it in a baseball field instead of a CAGE lolz

We need to 'feed' this machine:

with this token:

the rest you need is GAYA and strength like these...

confidence...

style

coolness or...lame-ness?

Sadly my phone has limited space and could not take any more shots.

What is your view on the below situation?

11:11 AM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (18)

A & B are buddies. B's dad get into bankruptcy and have difficulties providing for the family. Hence A, whose dad is a connstruction worker, approaches C, an influential and capable person, to ask for favour in getting B's dad, D a job with a pay of RM1.7k(requested by D).

C called up one of his client and recommended D, a total stranger to him, as a diligently committed worker. The client asked for the price and C managed to land D a job with a pay of RM2.5k.

When D came to see C, C told him that he got him RM2.2k for a job, ie. RM500 extra of what he asked for, monthly. He was so touched to the extent his tears broke down thanking C continuously. In a minute, C informed him that he actually got him the job with a pay of RM2.5k, but he want D to give RM300 to A, on monthly basis. To C, A is a very hardworking and willing student, his family is equally financially unsound minus off the bankruptcy bit. At this moment, D's eyes turned evil. C then informed D that he want half a month of his first salary and the RM300 to be given to A on monthly basis. D was angry and left very reluctantly.

Think about it, it is a windfall, isn't it? C already got him RM500 extra per month. I really doubt that D worth such a price to begin with as a bankrupt. C also told A to keep all the credits he asked for from D as deep inside, C knows A needs help himself.

D told B about this, both very unsatisfied upon knowing the truth. B even confronted the C's client accusing A's initial intention was never to help but to earn the RM300out of the so-called favour. Friendship between A & B turned sour since then.

What are friends for? Share money, share sorrow, share joys....or not at all? C's view being, friends come and go, if they don't appreciate you, forget it and move on.

Shouldn't B and D be appreciating the extra they get rather than sulking about the RM300 which at first place doesn't belongs to them since they only asked for RM1.7k?

What's your view? Should C handle the situation this way? or do you think it is never a good thing introducing money factor into friendship?

Earn and Spend

I got a good news upon waking up in the morning. Some powerslides job in exchange of a reasonable pay. Dateline being Monday, I got 15% of the material to start with this evening, with the the paid given in advance.

Of course if pay is in advance, I will make full use of it. But things went beyond my expectation.

Before getting the material, friend and I went to Bangsar Village Delicious for a good Chocolate Banana Cake with Lemonade. It is a teatime worth paying for. He mentioned this Chow Yang Massage shop in Bangsar Village as we drove out from carpark, suggesting we gave it a go if we manage to find a parking. We did, He went for full body massage and me shoulder bit for an hour. Aftermath? I feel like I was bashed up harsh and violently this evening at the back, maybe scrapping suits me better...the unexpected part being a summon sitting near my windscreen upon us stepping out from the massage shop. I thought of skipping the summons since it is from DBKL but he said, you are lawyer, lawyer admits mistake, responsible by paying & settling the summons to close case; but at the same time lawyers fight for their rights with merits, appeal for reduction. Haa...what a saying! He reminded me this 3 times, I sort of like the saying, will do the necessary.

We got back into office and had the relevant information and material sorted out before heading to Bangsar Opus for Italian Cuisine, Cod Fish, Clam with my fav Vongole. Bill came up to close to 150RM, the chatting bit was fun, or maybe story-telling plus experience-sharing. I realised so many exciting things in life I've missed out...Some stories and ppl inspires me quite abit.

This friend does open my eyes alot at times and I love hanging out with him.

I shall work hard for now:) good day people!

Haven't enough of...Lee Hom's clips

His concert is freaking mind-blowing, I can't help but browsing through some of the clips on his previous live performance.

Dedicated to all who appreciate the talented chap...

1) You're Not Here (你不在)

2) Fawaway Place (在那遥远的地方)with Er Hu

3) Hero On Earth (盖世英雄)- With the Grandest, Coolest, Most Impressive Opening

4) You Raise Me Up - Collobration With Westlife

5) Fallen Leafs Return to Root (落叶归根) - I'm touched every single time I hear his violin

haa...enough for the day, he is simply amazing!

eat or helping out?

12:10 AM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (2)

I had an hour sleep after Lee Hom's concert before heading to school on Sunday morning, followed by an intensive game in Tropicana Club before hading for a dinner binge with gal & friends. That next day I slept at 10pm and got up due to a buzz at phone seeking for help at 12+pm this noon. Some mark casting in return for a good meal, how will I reject hoho

I brushed up and headed to PJ. Friend thought a good meal to kick start my day may help speeding up the progress at work hence we had Taiwanese food for lunch in The Gardens. Beef Noodle, Xian Soo Ji and Tian Bu La, orange yogurt drink...sounds good? They are all left unfinished.

We rushed back to start working at the papers. Not much of a difficulties but abit tedious. I got tea to drink, musics to listen and a lilz drama to watch in between...best bit is the air-con haa!

Friend notices I got abit bored with the job and offered me to indulge in chocolate drink in Bangsar Village by 6pm. I was more than happy and we were there in less than 15 minutes. He got me a Fair Lady and himself Ms. Coco. Cool isn't it? I saw it on the blog the other day but have yet any time to check it out till now. What a relaxing help out eh? Fair lady is a tad too sweet but I prefer Miss Coco as it is Belgian Dark, slightly bitter, rich to the perfection.

We again headed back to continue with the work. It was a little late after less than 2 hours of working. He offered we called it a day for dinner. I rarely say no when there is food treat. We went, this round, under his high recommendation of this place in PJ called Green View Restaurant. Best dish being the Yim Guk Gai, I die-hardly reserve the drumstick for gal but she tak bagi muka, haih~~ Dinner was real satisfying. After which, I headed home for shower and rest.

Guess I will have to help out for the unfinished work tomorrow, feeling quite guilty eating so much but can't get the job done. Swear to have it complete tomorrow earliest I can.

Nitezz everyone!

LeeHom Music-Man Concert 2009 @ Bukit Jalil, Malaysia - Perfecto!

2:28 AM / Posted by 十八般武艺 / comments (7)

It was the day I have been waiting for. His arrival, his live performance, and bundle of music instruments complimenting his good voice.

One night worth remembered for, 2nd of May 2009, at Bukit Jalil Station, with the attendance of estimated 25k participants and fans, it was explosive, cool and overwhelming!

I skipped an hour class to avoid late arrival. Companion being my good old buddy CH. We catch up in car, we had junkfood and a lilz snack whilst waiting for time to come as we arrived an hour+ earlier. Half of the audience were waiting as we reached. The crowd was impressive. CH claims, if she ever has so many supporters in her life, it is worth dying earlier; I laughed off acceded the strong fan base this New-York bornt Taiwanese possess, one who is persistently putting his heart and soul into the Chinese Music industry. *salute*

The show begins by two local artist Daniel Lee and....an unknown lady. I only came to my sense when Lee Hom's special friend from Ireland, Bahamut Guitar was being presented in the middle of air where the stage is.

Lee Hom proudly presents his RM 100k worth of Bahamut Guitar

The next thing I know, Wang Lee Hom is less than 15meter where I sit. OMG he looked so charming! First song to rock up the crowd being 摇滚怎么了, his new songs in the Heartbeat album. Fans got really high and I bet Lee Hom can feel so 'home' here.

Lee Hom's opening attire

He can't wait but to introduce his very VIP, Bahamut Guitar. According to him, it took the expert from Ireland 3 full months of hardwork to produce it. Without much hesitation, it plays a big part in the entire concert. In terms of look, it kills and when comes to music, it rocks, big time!

Muscular isn't he?

Muscular no? I think he lose quites abit of weight despite the radiant smile and energy he carries with him. From Music-man to Movie-man and now back to Music-man, according to him, it never sound an easy thing to be a successful artist to me!

Interestingly, his voice varies when he speaks as a music-man, macholy cool. Like batman and superman, he is the man in Chinese music industry :)

This is Siao Wang

Siang Wang, Siao Lee, and Siao Hom, which do you prefer? I prefer all of them. There are four Lee Hom on stage when he sang 改变自己. One being the drummer, another playing the bass and the third the guitarist and of course the core singer himself. CH was so amazed by the scene of 4 Lee Hom; scratching her head wondering how he made it. I'm darn sure the one in blue is him despite the fact that the close-up of another three guys bear similar features as Lee Hom's.

In between he jokes, he shares his enthusiasm and hope in musics, he gives surprises appearing midway of the entire Stadium, steps down to shake hand whilst singing. He pauses in between to thank his fans from Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, etc who show their sincerest best supports. In short, he stirred up the crowd crazily, gentleman, ladies, old and young ones. all within his charmed clutches. What a killer :)

Lee Hom's fingers flying on piano

The ultimate aim I came for this concert of his is to witness just how good he can be doing his musics LIVE; and I'm truly impressed, more than satisfied. He went with his drum, piano, guitar, violin even Bit-Box. Every instrument compliments his firm yet soothing voice to the perfection. One would thought his voice could have been suppressed by any instruments or loud backgound music but his voice never fail to stand out. A little held back, his body movement at dance isn't on par with his talent in musics instrument :)

Time flies when one is having good time. It is near the end hence the Anchor part kicks in. Lee Hom never disappoint any one of us, reappearing in his mucisman t-shirt, casual and lengzai as he always is, give another perfect touch to take us to the end of his 2009 performance in Malaysia.

"I say KL, you say Hey, KL, Hey, KL, Hey"

effect was superb, live band was amazing, his live performace was awesome, graphic and every other thing else is simply the best I ever see. I truly enjoy my night. *Thumbs up* Looking forward for his next better production.

Last but not least...

What a sweetie boy eh?
